Who is responsible

This is a translation. In case of any discrepancy, the French version at https://appcraft31.app/privacy/vroomics.html is the reference text.

Vroomics is published by AppCraft31, an independent studio based in Toulouse, France. For any question about this policy, write to appcraft31@gmail.com.

This policy describes what the app actually does with data, on iOS and Android.

What stays on your device

Vroomics stores the following in your device's own storage. None of it is sent to any server, and all of it disappears if you uninstall the app.

For the online services, the device also keeps the session token, the anonymous player identifier and your pilot name: these, like your time trial best times and the ghost of your best lap, are sent to Unity Gaming Services, as described under “Accounts and game services”. Vroomics has no access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location, and we do not sell your data.

The statistics sent to Unity Analytics (Unity Technologies) go through its web API, with no third-party kit built into the game. They are tied to a random identifier created at installation, with no link to your identity or to the advertising identifier; Unity infers the country from the IP address. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, nothing is sent without your agreement, asked at first launch with a yes-or-no question. Elsewhere, sending is on by default. You can turn it off at any time under SETTINGS → STATISTICS: the game then asks Unity to erase the statistics already sent, which is done within 7 days. The device keeps this identifier, your choice and any statistics not yet sent.

Vroomics is free thanks to advertising, with no in-app purchases at all. The interstitial only appears when you leave the finish screen: never before the third race of the session, never between two races of a cup, at most once every three races and at least two and a half minutes after the previous one. The rewarded video (“×2 CREDITS” at the finish) only starts if you tap its button yourself.

The advertising consent form (UMP) and then, on iPhone, the tracking request (ATT) are shown at launch. Declining tracking never blocks the game: ads are simply not personalised. Where consent is required, the MY CHOICES button under SETTINGS → ADS reopens this form. On iPhone, tracking permission can also be withdrawn in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

  • credits, ships and parts owned, the level of each part, paint jobs and stickers
  • best times, time trial medals, cup results, stars, experience and progress against rivals
  • settings (language, vibrations)

Advertising

Vroomics is free and includes the Google AdMob SDK, in the following formats: interstitial and rewarded video. Google AdMob is provided by Google Ireland Limited for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and by Google LLC elsewhere.

In that context, Google may process the device advertising identifier, app-related identifiers and ad interaction data (impressions, clicks).

Ad requests are arbitrated by AdMob mediation, which may hand them to other networks whose SDK is embedded in the app: Unity Ads (https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy). When an ad is awarded to them, those networks in turn process the advertising identifier, app-related identifiers and ad interaction data, under their own privacy policy.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, those networks never receive consent to personalise, whatever you choose in the consent screen: their ads there are always non-personalised.

On iOS, the system asks at first launch whether you allow tracking of your activity. If you decline, no advertising identifier (IDFA) is shared and ads are not personalised.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a GDPR-compliant consent screen is shown through the Google User Messaging Platform. You can accept, decline or customise the use of your data for advertising.

You can change that choice from the app settings.

In-app purchases

Vroomics offers no in-app purchases.

Analytics

Vroomics sends Unity Analytics, to improve the game with anonymous usage statistics: game launches, races started, finished or abandoned (mode, planet, ship, position, time), cups completed, ads watched, garage purchases made with in-game credits and level-ups, along with the platform, the game version and the device language. These statistics are never used for advertising.

You can switch this off at any time from the app settings.

Network connection

The app uses your connection for loading ads (Google and, through mediation, Unity Ads) and their consent form, sending anonymous usage statistics (Unity Analytics), and for the global leaderboards, shared ghosts and online races (Unity Gaming Services). No other server is contacted. Solo races can be played offline: without a connection, only the leaderboards, other players’ ghosts and multiplayer are unavailable.

Accounts and game services

Vroomics never asks for an account, an email address or a phone number. For the global time trial leaderboards, shared ghosts and online races, the game opens an anonymous session with Unity Gaming Services, a Unity Technologies service: a player identifier created automatically, with no link to your identity. The device keeps this session’s token so you are recognised from one race to the next.

Sent to Unity and visible to other players: the pilot name you choose (“PILOTE-xxxx” by default, 14 characters at most), your ship and your best times, in the leaderboards; the ghost of your best lap (your ship’s trajectory), which other players can race against. During an online race, the players in the lobby receive your pilot name and your ship’s appearance, and your IP address is used by Unity Relay and Unity Lobby for as long as it takes to relay the race between players.

This data is used solely to run the game and is processed by Unity Technologies on the studio’s behalf (Unity’s policy: https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy). To have your online data deleted (pilot name, times, ghosts), write to us with your pilot name: it will be erased within 30 days.

Children

Vroomics is not specifically aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data about them.

Your rights

Since the data described above stays on your device, the most direct way to erase it is to uninstall the app: everything goes with it.

The General Data Protection Regulation further grants you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. To exercise them, write to appcraft31@gmail.com.

For data processed by the ad networks, those rights are exercised with each of them: Google and Unity Ads. Your advertising choices also remain changeable at any time from the app settings and your device settings.

Changes

This policy may change alongside the app. Any change is published on this page, with its date. Last updated: October 18, 2026.
